  About This Site

All the pages within this site are designed to be viewed at a resolution of at least 800x600, with 'medium' fonts and a Java-enabled browser. Click [ here ] and if nothing happens it's most likely that your browser isn't capable of running JavaScript.  This could be because you might not have Javascripting enabled in your browser's preferences.  If so, then you literally don't know what you're missing. Another possibility is that your browser may need to be updated to a more current version. It is further recommended that 'Arial' be present in your 'Fonts' directory.

These pages are constructed with  HTML code and are hand-written using MS Word. More complex operations are initially assembled in Front Page and then edited using Wordpad. The midis used as background music on many of the pages require a midi player to be activated in order to be heard.

Because this website is entirely non-commercial, the companies who provide us with the essential free services are gratefully acknowledged. Freepages is a free service provider and host of this site.   Please note that the top and bottom banners in use on our site as well as some pop up ads are those of our sponsors.

Now you know how everything works, tell me when you find something that is not working so that I can fix it.  Links to pages on other websites can sometimes be a problem when those pages change. Please let me know when this happens, would you? I sincerely hope you will enjoy your time spent wandering through our Family's website and that you will return  to discover what else is being unearthed. Maybe, even bringing with you the odd treasure to share with others.

Is The Picture Quality Poor On Your Monitor?

Many people have the color settings on their computer monitor incorrectly set for viewing photographs and don't even realize it. Examine the two colors in the block to determine if you have this problem. There is a light and a dark shade of green. The color for each shade of green should be pure. Do you see a pattern of little dots or pixels of a different color mixed in with the pure colors? They will be very obvious; you won't need to squint or use a magnifying glass. If so, make a quick adjustment to your computer which will vastly improve picture quality. This may not work if your computer is over 10 years old. Click here for instructions.
